The record shows the brand, the active ingredients and strengths, the dosage form, the route, and the DPD or LNHPD status.

A recall warning appears when that DIN or NPN is named in the loaded Health Canada recall list. The lookup does not decide whether a product is safe to sell or take.

Data: Health Canada Drug Product Database, Licensed Natural Health Products Database, and Health Canada recalls and safety alerts. Product text stays in the source language.

## Does this lookup confirm that a product is safe?

No. It shows the catalog record and any matching recall in the loaded list. A pharmacist still makes the clinical call.

## Which number do I type?

A DIN or an NPN has 8 digits, including zeros at the start. You can also type part of the brand name or an ingredient name.

## Do I need an account?

No. The lookup is public. The query is sent so PharmFlow can read the catalog. It is not stored as a patient record.

## What does no recall warning mean?

It means this DIN or NPN is not named in the loaded recall list. It does not prove the product was never recalled.
