# Pill Counter

Count pills on a counting tray from a photo.

Lay the pills in one layer on the tray. The camera counts them live and locks when steady, or photograph the full tray. The page counts on your device and draws a circle on each pill it counted.

Check each circle against a pill before you trust the number. Fix it with a tap when the photo needs it, then have a pharmacist verify the count.

The tool counts pills. It does not identify the pill type and it does not check a dose.

The count runs on your device. No photo leaves the browser.

## Does this tool identify the pill type?

No. It counts pills only. Identification is out of scope. A pharmacist verifies every count.

## Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The photo stays on your device. The page makes no network call with it.

## What if pills touch or stack?

Touching pills usually still count. Stacked pills and packed rafts may not. Spread the pills in one layer and retake the photo when the count looks uncertain.
